We are working with the Wellbeing Liverpool partnership, consisting of the Liverpool Clinical Commissioning Group, Healthwatch, Citizens Advice Liverpool and the Primary Care Networks, on the promotion of Social Prescribing: a 360 degree vision of patients’ physical and mental wellbeing.
The promotional campaign aims to raise awareness of the range of support, available under the name Social Prescribing, which is in addition to clinical interventions and medication. Increasingly, GPs will refer patients to a social prescriber or link worker, who, in conversation with the patient, will get to the root cause of their illness. The patient will be able to access free complementary or alternative treatment such as help with housing and benefits, but also creative writing classes and dog-walking groups.
The promotional campaign pilots a combination of e-newsletter and short video. The first video, “What is Social Prescribing”, was published on 18th March for Social Prescribing Day. Feedback has been great, watch it here.
We were brought on board to create the campaign, to plan and creatively produce content, manage the contractors and the production and assist with the distribution. All the things we like to do!
