We’re mightily chuffed to work with Liverpool Mental Health Consortium to organise the first ever Liverpool Mental Health Festival.

Bringing together creative organisations, local businesses and partners from a health background, Liverpool Mental Health Festival 2016 will host 2 weeks of events to celebrate good mental health across the city from 1st – 16th October. The City Centre BID, Threshold, Writing on the Wall, the Everyman & Playhouse, the Comedy Trust, the Baltic Creative, Africa Oye and, all the way from London, Help Musicians, have partnered up with Liverpool Mental Health Consortium to put on a diverse programme of activities for young and old to join in, longer, better and more inclusive than ever before and culminating in a city centre event on Williamson Square on 8th October.

The festival’s art exhibition with the theme “Respect” and endorsed by Patrons The Singh Twins will be hosted at the Baltic Creative/Unit 51 from 7th – 16th October and at Constellations from 10th – 16th October. Festival patron Bill Ryder-Jones, co-founder of the Coral and acclaimed solo artist, will announce the winner of the “Mental Health & Me” writing competition on 10th October at Central Library.
