BAMER communities at Africa Oyé
Liverpool’s Black, Asian, Minority Ethnic and Refugee communities (BAMER in short) will have a joint presence this year at the UK’s largest free celebration of African music and culture. Africa Oyé will provide a platform for BAMER support groups such as Sanctuary Family Support, the African Elders Association and Lodge Lane Regeneration Group to introduce their services to a wider audience through singing, crafts and story-telling.
We have been commissioned to coordinate the planning of the activities, manage their delivery at the festival and to work with Africa Oyé on promoting the BAMER communities. Wonderful!
