Well, we knew we were offered a special piece of work when we were asked to do the event management for Zubberdust, an immersive event ‘featuring a mind-bending mix of neolithic offerings, punk raffles, costumes, and cosmic arrivals’. Yes! This sounded right up our street – and it was!

Taking place at Constellations, Zubberdust was the first foray into large-scale events for organisers Busk With Us. Thus, we started working with Busk With Us in April to make sure we were on track with the line-up and to get a handle on the plans for building the backdrop for the gigs.

On the day of the event, we worked with a crew of artists on their amazing set design and oversaw its build, to be completed on time to open the doors to an eagerly waiting audience.  Working closely with the excellent stage manager, we delivered a fast-paced, theatrical, diverse and high-quality line-up including prime exponents of Cosmic Dross, Henge. From mask-making workshops over gigs interspersed by dance performances to an all-inclusive drumming jam, the whole programme was received euphorically by a large and raucous audience. A brilliant night!
