Chris Spriggs, Place Lead at Kindred, called to talk about plans for Sun Street Social: it was the start of an incredibly exciting journey
At the start of September, we received a call from Kindred’s Place Lead, asking if we were available to work alongside her and her team on the launch of Sun Street Social and on the Sun Street Social Street Party in St. Helens at the end of September. The phone call – a meeting of kindred spirits – was the start of an incredibly exciting journey, seeing first-hand how the “Street and a Half” project turned Haydock Street into a hub of beautiful creative activity.
We linked Kindred up with Focal Studios to provide projections and with Bring the Fire Project for stilt walkers, jugglers and other exciting circus performers. Along with general event planning expertise, we sourced catering, planned the market place and programme of entertainment and sourced security and traffic management for the road closure at the Street Party. Great times!
