When we were planning the flagship events for Liverpool European Festival 2026 with our clients Liverpool European Partnership, we were ecstatic about the prospect of planning a daytime parade. With the objective to provide the European communities in Liverpool with a platform to showcase their rich culture, heritage and traditions through music, dance and singing in the city centre, we set to work.

The process included consultation with the Joint Agencies, working with partners Liverpool ONE, sourcing and booking performers, route planning, putting in place safeguarding processes for the minors among the parade participants, keeping resident businesses informed, sourcing and managing suppliers, planning the operations and delivering the parade.

And our work paid off: the parade was a great reflection of the beautifully diverse European communities in Liverpool, their culture and traditions and a real testament to the transcending powers of music, singing and dance. Check out the photo gallery!
