We were involved in the development, the planning, management and delivery of the national BAHT Conference for the 5th time and the event was the organisation BAHT’s biggest conference to date in every respect. BAHT – the British Association of Hand Therapists – is a charity run by greatly invested voluntary members and it was a pleasure to work with the organisation’s executive committee again.

With the theme In Our Hands, the conference programme offered an excellent range of sustainability panel discussions and workshops. Over 160 delegates from all over the UK attended the conference at the Hilton Bournemouth on Friday 6th & Saturday 7th October, which included a Delegate Dinner on the Friday.

Speakers were drawn from all across the UK with our keynote speaker, Maggi Persson, hailing from Sweden. The Exhibitor Area hosted eight exhibiting organisations in total, including one based in Ireland, another one from Scotland, one from Holland and finally one that came all the way from India to exhibit at “In Our Hands”.
