We started the Seasons event management course barely 2 months ago and look-y here: the group already managed their own full-blown event! Seasons support Liverpool Against Racism was a free, family-friendly partner event of the Liverpool Against Racism festival: the Seasons event managers were proud to stand in solidarity against racism with its home city.
The line-up was huge and included a brand-new set from OFCOURSS plus hip hop artist Manifest from NYC and a variety of art forms:
Katumba Drumming and Movement – Nikki Blaze with Liverpool-NYC hip hop band OFCOURSS – Kinga Malec: Indian dance
Francisco Carrasco of Luma Creations ft. Juliana Pinheiro with a beautiful Latin American set
A spoken word hour led by rapper, singer-songwriter and spoken word Blue Saint with local poet Alia and Mo Evans and Becky Powe from Moving on with Life and Learning. Grime artist Rugzfam – a spoken word artist in his own right – brought up the rear and raised the roof with his energetic performance.
Our compere extraordinaire Motormouf was hosting and threw in some beatbox!
Our next Seasons event will be in late July or early August, keep your eyes peeled here for details.
