Soup, Song & Standup (January 2016)
Our own soup kitchen with music for those who are less fortunate than us was attended by even more people!
Our first Soup, Song & Standup took place in November 2015 and went down a treat with the homeless community who came to eat, drink and dance.
The second instalment of our own soup kitchen with music for those who are less fortunate than us was attended by even more people! We cooked soup and offered hot drinks to all who came to the Black-E. Rebel Soul DJs and X-Ray Katt provided the tunes and we were treated to poetry readings from some of our dinner guests, too!
Also on board this time was the One Community Project Northwest with their Winter Clothes Stall.
Soup Song & Standup (17/01/2016)
The second instalment of our soup kitchen at The Black-E. This bi-monthly event is about sharing with people who are less fortunate than us, particularly those living without a roof over their head. Music provided by Rebel Soul DJs and The Walrus Said, compered by MQ of Kerrs. Soup & all other sustenance free for those in need.
This time, we’re collaborating with the wonderful One Community Project who will bring their Free Winter Clothing Stall to our event! People in need will be able to pick up warm coats, sleeping bags and shoes, with any leftover items at the stall being shipped to Calais the week after our event.
